Rockley Brahmans genetics head to Botswana

For the first time, Australian cattle, including from Queensland, have been imported into Botswana to enhance the country’s genetic pool and provide quality genetics to local producers at subsidised rates.

Rockley Brahmans were the only Brahman stud to be selected with five registered heifers and a registered bull chosen to send to the country.

“We’re very proud for our genetics to be selected and have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Botswana Government (especially Dennis and Mr T) and we’d like to wish their country all the very best with their Australian purchases,” said Mr Kirk.
