A standout sale for Rockley Brahmans at GDL’s “In The Tank” online genetics event
Friday, 20 June 2025 marked a proud moment for us at Rockley Brahmans, as we offered four lots in the GDL “In The Tank” Online Genetics Sale — and came away with results that exceeded all expectations.
With a total sale gross of $177,050, we were thrilled to see our Lot 28 top the entire sale at $18,000. This 3-in-1 Homozygous Polled Red Brahman genetic package was secured by repeat buyer Zanna Young of Genesis Brahmans — a strong endorsement of the genetics we’re striving to produce.
Lot 33 was another highlight, featuring a guaranteed live IVF calf by Fairy Springs Duracell (PS) out of our own Rockley Miss Datababe 123 (PS). It sold for $10,250 to another valued repeat client, Clayton Curley of Gipsy Plains Brahmans. We’re proud to see these genetics heading into such progressive programs.
Our semen offerings also performed strongly. Lots 34 and 35 sold to Doug Burnett of Arcuo Ag, who purchased straws at $1,400 and $800 respectively. It’s great to know our red Brahman lines will be contributing to his future breeding plans.
